Old Wolf sings

Old Wolf sings a lonely song,
runs the forest a sorrowed home,
spoke from the head and not from the heart,
love leaves for trails depart.
Old song of two is now just one,
spirit drifts on nightly run,
muzzle bays the nightly cry,
Sorrowed wings of ghostly moon,
quite forest with no sung tune,
wisps of scent on trails are gone,
prints in sand are lost to soon.
Cold winds blow a gentle breeze,
carries no scent in darken trees,
heart touched once now touched again,
lost love remnants reminds of pain.
Old Wolf sing a lonely song,
lowly moon set to soon,
feels the spirit that is lost,
the trails smell of heavy frost.
